Gotobeat and Quantic are thrilled to present the debut show of Trio Mandili in Bucharest.

A live performance by Trio Mandili is a minimalist and intimate experience centered on ancient Georgian polyphony, emotional storytelling, and the group's signature playful energy

  • Signature Sound: Their style is defined by three-part polyphonic singing that feels both "sacred" and ritualistic.

  • Atmosphere: Expect a "heartwarming" and wholesome vibe. The trio is known for frequent smiles, laughter, and lighthearted interactions with each other and the crowd.

Trio Mandili is a Georgian all-female musical ensemble renowned for its traditional polyphonic folk songs, often accompanied by the panduri, a traditional Georgian string instrument. The group, currently consisting of Tatuli Mgeladze, Tako Tsiklauri, and Mariam Kurasbediani, gained widespread international recognition in 2014 after a video of them performing the Georgian folk song "Apareka" went viral online.

They are celebrated for their harmonious renditions that blend authentic regional styles and emphasize the intricate vocal layering characteristic of Georgian polyphony. Beyond their native Georgian tunes, Trio Mandili has expanded its repertoire to include songs in various other languages, such as Hindi, Polish, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, Ukrainian, and Russian, further solidifying their global appeal.

The trio actively tours across Europe, North America, and other regions, performing at festivals and concerts, and continues to release new music. In April 2022, they launched the "Mandili Cares" program to collect funds and provide essential goods for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, showcasing their humanitarian endeavors.
